The CO2 laser removes the top layers of the epidermis stimulating healthy skin underneath. New collagen is formed and elastin is tightened. If you are looking for more drastic resurfacing, don't mind some downtime, or would rather do one intense treatment vs a series of milder treatments the Tetra may be the right fit for you.

Results and downtime depend on your individual treatment, given the fact that your provider can make many customizations to the treatment parameters. During your initial consultation your provider will ask questions about your lifestyle, desired outcomes, and assess your skin to give you an idea of how much downtime you should expect. In general, to reverse deeper lines and wrinkles the client should expect a week of social downtime/looking sunburnt. All clients will be given a post care kit with instructions.

Our practitioners do everything we can to minimize pain, discomfort and anxiety associated with this treatment. However, the client should expect some level of heat and discomfort. It is most commonly described as a prickly heat sensation. We numb our clients 30 minutes before treatment with a prescription strength numbing cream and offer zimmer air chilling during and after the service to cool the surface of the skin. The post care kit that every client receives after treatment also helps to alleviate discomfort and expedite recovery.
